The Little Rascals
Synopsis of Saturday Morning Show
With the advent of television, Hal Roach's Our Gang shorts were packaged into half-hour blocks and sold into syndication. Alfalfa, Darla, Spanky, Buckwheat, and the gang were put into every situation imaginable, from "He-Man Woman Hater" club meetings to homemade carnivals.
The 30's and 40's antics lost none of their anarchic charm over the years, continuing to delight kids for decades. In 1979, the Little Rascals returned to Saturday morning in animated form on The Little Rascals/Richie Rich Show, which later became The Pac-Man/Little Rascals/Richie Rich Show.
